Facebook is a social network, and all it’s members are social people. Therefore in Facebook you have to be social.

The success of the 25 steps to make money on facebook mainly depends on the total number of your friends. Without enough friends you won’t be able to make enough money on facebook. Without enough friends you won’t be able to have a big number of members in your groups.

So be social and get some friends. I am assuming that by now you have finished your privacy settings and you already invited all your friends from the real life to join you on facebook. So now you have about 5-10 friends and you are ready to go… what next?

from now and on, and for at least two weeks you need to get as mush as you can new friends on facebook,,, but before you begin keep the following points in your mind:

- Don’t annoy people by requesting their friendship more than one time. If someone not interested in your friendship, leave him alone… there are several millions of other people to try with them.

- Don’t only try with the opposite sex, and don’t make all your friend list from the same sex. Be normal get some sexy girls beside a bunch of cool guys.

- Select them from different cultures and different ages. Only be careful about the network, if they are from a network of a very small country where only a few people have an Internet connection… don’t request their friendship.

- The most important thing in selecting your friends, is to look at their friends. If they have a lot of friends from several networks, it means that they are active and their friendship will boost your chances to get all her/his friends. Remember that when you request someone friendship, its more likely that she/he will accept your request if they found that you have a friend in common (facebook do this for you automatically, they will receive a list of all the in common friends with your request).

- Before you click on "Add as a friend" take a moment to think about it, is this person harmonize with my other friends?? if he is so different don’t click on it.

Now, when you receive a friendship request form somebody, you have to do the same thing by checking his profile for all the above points. But there is only one more point which you have to care about it. If she/he doesn’t have a normal photo in his profile, or if she/he doesn’t have more than five friends, or if she/he doesn’t have any installed applications in their profile, or if she/he doesn’t have a normal name… then don’t accept her/his request. That because there are several hackers on facebook and they will try to hack your account, all what they need is to get your friendship. So don’t accept anybody.

Know when I say that go and get as much as you can of new friends on facebook, I don’t mean that go and click on "Add as a friend" where ever you can. No, I didn’t mean that.. first of all you have to follow all the above points to select high quality friends. The second thing is, facebook is a nice place to spend your time, if everybody their will add friends only with the aim to make money on facebook, then we will lose the most important thing on facebook which is the social spirit of this culture. So don’t be so materialistic, and try to enjoy your time while you working on building your friends list.

What I mean is, that there is a social and enjoyable way to find and add new friends to your list, as the following:

• Join your favorite groups: Let us say that you like football (By the way, I don’t like football ;-)) there are a lot of groups for football lovers, join the one you like and (…be social) by writing on the group wall, add some photos for your favorite team to the group photos. Send a message to the group creator tell him how much you like his group (Loool… I said "his" because I am quite sure that the creator of a football group will be a guy ;-)) you will find a lot of people posting some questions on the group wall (asking about something like the date of the next match or the name of one of the team members), if you know the answer.. answer it and you will find that some of the group members will request your friendship, and if they didn’t then you can do it and guess what at that time it will be more likely that they will accept your request, because they already know you from the group.

• If you are a man and you found a cute girl and you want to add her to your friend list, then don’t go and add her as a friend, probably she won’t accept your request. First of all take a look at her friends list, if she has a few number of friends (10 - 100) then poke her to give her a chance to check your profile, if she is interested then she will poke you back, if she did that then go and add her as a friend. But if you found that she has a lot of friends (more than 100) then don’t poke her, probably she receives a lot of pokes everyday, so she won’t notice your poke and she might don’t poke you back just because she is ignoring all the pokes. In this case send her a message, tell her the truth… that you have seen her photo and you think that she is cute, you would like to be her friend on facebook, tell her that if she didn’t accept it will be fine, and you only asking because it worth a try.

Keep in mind that it’s not all about money, it’s about how to enjoy your time on facebook PLUS making some money form it. And its totally not about spamming people and not about asking them to buy something. Don’t look at your friends as customers, look at them as friends.. and treat them as friends, this is the secret for making the success on facebook.

Finally, you should know that you have 2-3 weeks to get minimum 250 friends on facebook. Yes 250 is the minimum to make money on facebook (in the near future you will need to get more than 250 to increase your chances, but for now 250 is a good number to start with it). And don’t worry in the next coming posts I will give you more hints about how to attract people to add you as a friend.
